QUOTE OF THE DAY

Friday 11 February 2011

Week of Feb. 7th to 14th.

Hello everyone,
This is the first Grammar Powerpoint I went through with you in class the other day on Connectors. Please feel free to use any of this information to help you study and review for the Selectividad exams. The practice exercises are all included in the Powerpoint. Please try to focus on using Connectors in your Weekly Assignment for this week.
I have also included the notes on the Smartboard Personal Opinion for the Writing class that we have done up to now. More will be added as we go along. Please make sure you have this and use this exact structure when doing your Weekly Assignments for the Writing Production component.
I will be adding more and more helpful links for extra Selectividad exam preparation so that you may be able to do more on your own time if you should so wish. These exams will be official exams from previous years so that you might see what the format has been.
Keep in mind that this year, the format for the Reading Comprehension has changed. There are now THREE Comprehension questions and THREE True or False questions.

Greetings!

Welcome to the II BTX Blogspace.
In creating this blog and having most class material available through an easy-access system, it will be easier for you to organise yourselves in terms of reviewing for exams, studying specific grammar points, or simply to get extra practice through the various exercises that will be posted here in due course. This is an educational resource and not a place to send messages to me regarding grades received, asking for the course exam questions (or answers) or for extra "help" on an assignment. This is also not a place to leave messages for friends about social or personal matters. Please adhere to these measures of conduct and this site will prove useful to you. If these terms are not met, the individual will be removed from the blog and will also have a serious conversation with not only me, but their tutor and perhaps parents, depending on the severity of the situation.I hope you work hard, pay attention and feel free to pick my brain about grammar points not understood by coming to see me or to ask for more practice exercises.Good luck to you all!Ms. Riviere
